Apple Working on Digital Television Guide for Apple TV

For years Apple has been rumoured to be readying its own TV sets and even its own exclusive TV shows, but Samsung, Netflix and the rest need not worry. "The difference is that in 2015, Apple wanted to sell TV programming directly to consumers and provide them with a new interface that would make it easy to find the stuff they paid for".

Apple always tries to best, and it also works for the update and it's a creating a plan for a digital TV guide that would act on Apple TV boxes and Digital TV guide would post content accessible on a variety of video application. but wait for some time for it and it, s not a big deal for the Apple lovers.

This past January two Apple TV related patents came to light with both emphasizing a real TV channel listing app or guide for Apple TV and other iOS devices. You would be able to know the programming available from Netflix, ESPN, HBO and others without having to individually open each app. Users would be able to watch their favorite shows and movies through a single click.

Expect the Apple TV guide platform to be US-focused initially, as many of Apple's TV viewing apps are more developed over in the States (for now at least).

'The Bachelorette' JoJo Fletcher Is Engaged to Jordan Rodgers
In the previous episode, Fletcher picked Robby and Jordan as her final two men and eliminated Chase McNary from the competition. After a season filled with drama and heartbreak, JoJo Fletcher opens up about finding true love with Jordan Rodgers.

According to unnamed industry sources, Apple is working with publishers and broadcasters to create a universal online TV directory. The new feature will rely on the single sign-on plan that the company introduced earlier this year during WWDC.

If the plan comes to fruition, then Apple will be retreading ground covered by others. If pay TV distributors sign on to the plan, it would let users access and download multiple "TV Everywhere" apps more easily.

Apple already has an extensive data about many video programmers' app that it uses for its Siri-powered search function.

Apple, the report said, has been in talks with programmers about obtaining the metadata needed to build the new guide.
