Ryan trashes Putin but won't call out Trump for praising him

"I don't know how you get around this", Ryan said of Clinton's actions.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump speaks with US Today show co-anchor Matt Lauer. Last year, during an interview on MSNBC's Morning Joe, Trump cast aside allegations that Putin was responsible for the killings of journalists critical of his regime, saying, "At least he's a leader, unlike what we have in this country".

"That is what's happened to this country".

He also criticized Hillary Clinton for responding to concerns about her handling of classified information on her private email server with "misdirection".

As a newcomer to politics, Trump has used colorful language in the past to describe fervent support for him.

Many people also point out that Lauer failed to address Trump's claim that he had previously opposed the war in Iraq, something that pundits say is false, but the Republican candidate keeps insisting is true.

During Wednesday's Commander-in-Chief forum, Trump was asked by NBC's Matt Lauer whether he was comfortable praising and being praised by the former KGB agent turned president of Russian Federation. Trump then argued that a number of Putin's widely condemned leadership decisions-such as his invasion of Ukraine and his support for Iran and Syrian president Bashar al-Assad-were tantamount to those of the USA president.

The republican candidate added that Putin has "a very strong control" over his country, stating that it is a very different political system, which he does not agree with.

Trump said if Putin "says great things about me, I'm going to say great things about him". Hillary Clinton pledged the withdrawal of USA ground troops from Iraq, that the US would not "put ground troops into Syria".

Donald Trump stood by his past comment that military sexual assaults should be expected "when they put men and women together" in the United States armed forces during an NBC-hosted forum Wednesday night.

Clinton answered questions while standing on the tarmac of Westchester County Airport moments before she and her traveling press corps were set to take off to North Carolina.

The 42nd president on Wednesday, while stumping in Orlando for Hillary Clinton, suggested Trump's campaign rallying cry, "Make America Great Again", is racist code. Then when she finally gets around to talking about ISIS, because Matt Lauer's allowed her to move on, he tells her to speed it up, because they don't have much time.
