No Bull: West Virginia Governor Vetoes Budget

Physician assistants are urging Gov. Jim Justice to withdraw his veto of legislation that would revise their scope of practice in West Virginia and authorize they work in collaboration rather than under supervision of a doctor.

"We all should take ownership for this, but what we have is nothing more than bunch of political bull you-know-what", he said as he revealed the state budget covered with a large amount of animal excrement.

Jim Justice made sure everyone got the point Thursday.

He appeared to be calling their bluff as he used a set of three whiteboards to illustrate the budget cuts he refused to endorse.

The governor later tweeted the video, saying this is what people get when "legislators play politics with the budget". "We want you to veto it",' Justice said.

"He just kept putting out proposals throughout the session", Boettner said.

"We don't have to be a bunch of babies, we don't have to be a bunch of children, we don't have to be one-upping the other party all the time", he said.

"I hope and pray that the silliness will stop", he said. "But you know at the end of all the games. there's a family out there, and we're hurting them". "The majority of our members have heard the calls of the people they represent - they believe they are taxed enough already and simply can not afford to pay more for a government that continues to grow year after year".

"From the beginning, the Senate's position has been to deliver a budget to the people of West Virginia that lives within its means, and to do that within the 60 days of the regular Legislative session".

'There is significant opposition to tax increases in the House of Delegates, ' he insisted.
