Windows 10, Office 365 to be Revamped Twice a Year!

As per the new schedule, the next Windows update, code-named Redstone 3, will be released in September.

The company said it would hew to a "predictable" twice-per-year schedule for both platforms, though there's still a little wiggle room: Microsoft didn't specify exact dates within those months. Microsoft has already doled out two major upgrades to Windows 10-the Anniversary Update (Redstone 1) past year and more recently the Creators Update (Redstone 2).

But now a reverse engineer known to us only as Zeffy has released a patch that circumvents Microsoft's update blockade.

Companies who keep their users on the Current Branch for Business deployment ring will still see those feature updates delayed by roughly four months after Microsoft makes them generally available. This means that if you want your Windows 10 or Office ProPlus installation supported long-term, you'll have to update it from time to time. With Windows 10, one of the biggest complaints was large updates came out of nowhere, rendering a user's machine inoperable until the updates were complete. One of the new features that's now in the works concerns improving battery life, and Windows Insiders who have installed the latest Windows 10 preview build (16176) can already toy with it.

"Redstone 3", is set for release in September later this year. As expected, someone was able to crack Microsoft's restrictions and re-enable updates.

He added that when Thomas wanted to share something she would whisper stuff in Cummins' ear and then Cummins would repeat it. TBI contacted the Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office and learned they had received the same tip from the same person.

Microsoft today announced that its most recent Windows 10 preview build lets you test out new battery-saving technology.

From October 13, 2020, Office 365 ProPlus or Office perpetual in mainstream support will be required to connect to Office 365 services.

Updated Microsoft's explained how often it intends to offer "feature updates" to Windows 10: twice a year in March and September.

The feature will identify which apps you're actually using, and then limit how much power is going to background applications.

On the Office side, this change does not affect "perpetual"/non-subscription Office client apps/suites, Office perpetual clients connecting to on-premises servers or any Office consumer services.
