Call of Duty: WWII Won't Have Health Regen, Divisions Further Explained

Call Of Duty: WWII was developed by Sledgehammer Games, and it will be available on November 3 in $60 and $100 packages, depending on how much money you're willing to spend on vague promises of "digital content".

The trailer above shows off an expectedly by-the-numbers, melodramatic WWII campaign that at least benefits from the last 10 years of graphical improvement. At least, in the single player campaign.

While Activision is refraining from revealing many details regarding Call of Duty: WWII's multiplayer until E3, they did drop some new information during the reveal livestream. Not just any zombies - Nazi zombies.

Following the launch of the new Call of Duty WW2 reveal trailer, the trending topics connected to the new title have shifted. Activision says an invitation for the game's closed beta later this year will also be given to those who pre-order. Be sure to check out the reveal trailer for the game below.

When it comes to multiplayer, they did discuss some details.

Offering a robust social space dedicated to engagement off the frontlines, Headquarters paves the way for all-new avenues of Multiplayer interaction, recognition and awards unlike anything experienced in the franchise to date.

Call of Duty® is making a dramatic return to the greatest military conflict in history and where the franchise first began, World War II. The first three Call of Duty games, as well as Call of Duty: World at War, were all set in Word War II.

As expected, the game will also have multiplayer and zombie modes.

But in a blog post, Activision said it's a co-operative mode that "delivers a unique storyline that's an all-new take on Nazi Zombies".

Some marketing materials originally leaked the release date, then a tweet right before the big reveal all but confirmed it, but Activision has now made it official during a 30 minute live stream.
