Is This the New iPhone 8?

It has been speculated that the iPhone 8 will indeed have some form of wireless charging, but AI doubts that the tech described in the patent are a part of that.

The image also shows a vertical dual-lens camera at the back with a LED flash in the center. Consumers are expecting Apple to bring something new to the table (as Samsung did earlier this month), so the pressure is on for Apple to deliver its most exciting iPhone yet.

It has always been rumoured that Apple is investigating the possibilities for wireless charging technology, but the latest patent filed by the firm reveals a surprising new approach.

Well, iPhone leaks and rumors are now starting to gain more momentum.

More leaked details about the iPhone 8 are making the rounds online. However the highlight of all this is that it will have a 5.2 inch screen (which will occupy much of the front) in a casing with dimensions similar to those of iPhone 7 with 4.7 inch screen.

Interestingly there is no cut out for fingerprint scanner at the back in this one which is line with the latest rumours from Geskin where he showed a bunch of live images of iPhone 8.

Ousmane Dembele sinks Bayern Munich and takes Borussia Dortmund through to final
Ancelotti's job is not yet under threat, but his first season compares unfavourably with predecessor Pep Guardiola . Dortmund has lost in the last three German Cup finals, two of them to Bayern Munich.

The report also noted that OLED display for the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are much larger than that of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, respectively, released a year ago, but will have an overall touchscreen display size closer to the iPhone 7. It is supposed that the wide area on the rear panel is for wireless charging.

However, one of the key things for the possible and significant increase in the autonomy of iPhone 8 lies in the choice of an OLED screen.

Apple has been testing using faster processors based on a smaller 10-nanometer production process for all three new models.

Detailed in Apple's patent application for "Wireless Charging and Communications Systems With Dual-Frequency Patch Antennas" is a method for transferring power to electronic devices over frequencies normally dedicated to data communications. There is a clear market need for Apple to produce an outstanding device in 2017, and this would seem to pave the way for an iPhone 8 to accompany the two incremental iPhone 7S updates. On Monday, the Japanese technology blog Mac Otakara reported that the iPhone 8 would come with stainless steel frame to hold together the front and back glass panels of the smartphone.

I know what you're thinking - Android devices have had wireless charging for years.

According to sources within Apple, there are still iPhone 8 prototypes that retain the physical Home Button.
