The Randolph County Office of Emergency Management says about 150 people are affected by the evacuations in east Pocahontas.

On Wednesday, Hutchinson said he deployed additional National Guard resources, including personnel and vehicles, to aid in search, rescue and recovery efforts in northeast Arkansas.

Hutchinson said officials have identified nine levee breaches in Randolph County alone, and three of those are categorized as major.
