North Korea says it will seek extradition of plot culprits

It was believed that the relationship between China and North Korea had reached new lows in recent weeks as many feared that Pyongyang was prepping for a sixth nuclear test.

The Mission Center will use all of the resources of the CIA and other United States intelligence agencies to address ballistic and nuclear missile threats posed by North Korea, the CIA said on Wednesday.

In the statement, CIA Director Mike Pompeo said the creation of the centre focuses the CIA's efforts against the "serious threats" emerging from North Korea, which has ramped up both nuclear and missile tests in an effort to enhance its military capabilities.

A top North Korean foreign ministry official says Pyongyang will seek the extradition of anyone involved in what it says was a CIA-backed plot to kill leader Kim Jung Un last month with a biochemical poison.

Washington, Beijing, and Seoul have already threatened to impose new sanctions on Pyongyang if the country attempts further nuclear or long-range missile tests.

"This system imposes unduly harsh sentences for actions that would not be considered crimes in the United States and threatens U.S. citizen detainees with being treated in accordance with wartime law of the DPRK", it said.

Fury Looking At July For Ring Return
Tyson Fury has vowed to "rid a fraud out of the heavyweight division" in a new attack on Anthony Joshua. It definitely isn't a pumped-up heavyweight, I can tell you that".

The North's state media has been running stories about the plot since last week.

His presidential power came into force right after his election victory was confirmed by the election commission as he has no usual transition period for the impeachment of his predecessor.

While Russia and North Korea have previously sought closer ties on the basis of their mutual isolation from the West, the two pariah states could soon enjoy an even closer cooperation in the wake of the public spat between the USA and North Korea over the latter's planned sixth nuclear weapons test.

"The Department of State strongly warns USA citizens not to travel to North Korea", the warning said. The warning comes after he accused the US of planning a chemical attack.

The new leader also vowed to sincerely consult with the United States and China to resolve the issue on the U.S. Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) missile defense system.
