Elon Musk demos 125 miles per hour sled to fast-track cars

Tunnel digging at Elon Musk's The Boring Company are well underway. It's not boring at all.

Elon Musk is already breaking ground on his Los Angeles tunnel network, revealing on Friday a new set of photos and videos from inside his first tunnel.

The third video segment is the longest, and shows a test run of "our electric sled" that will go 125 miles per hour through tunnels.

"[Warning, this may cause motion sickness or seizures]", Musk wrote in the caption of the video on Instagram. In that cryptic tweet, Musk wrote he's "still waiting", leading us to think the Boring Company might never dig the incredible tunnels to fulfill his plans for the transportation system of the future.

He has plans to begin test excavation in a Hawthorne parking lot located near SpaceX headquarters.

North Korea says it will seek extradition of plot culprits
The new leader also vowed to sincerely consult with the United States and China to resolve the issue on the U.S. The North's state media has been running stories about the plot since last week.

According to Musk's Twitter, digging for the tunnels started back in January. Musk took to Instagram, as he often does, to share the first steps of progress with his followers, including the plans for the first full-length tunnel running from LAX to Culver City, Santa Monica, Westwood, and Sherman Oaks in Southern California. He says the machine will be "a few hundred feet long when complete". It remains unclear for now, however, whether Musk and his Boring Company have obtained the necessary approvals from the city and government, especially considering that the area is seismically active.

Musk said that the transport vehicle will be able to automatically switch from one tunnel to the next.

We also get a look at one of the cutter heads of the boring machine slowly rotating.

Names are clearly important for Musk since he actually named the new company "The Boring Company". Musk promises trips between Westwood and LAX, a trip that can take up to 30 to 45 minutes to normal LA traffic, would be a speedy five minutes via his tunnel.

Musk first showed a visualization of how the tunnel system could work in an April TED Talk.
