Prom photos often hold special memories, but a group of teenagers in Vancouver may have an extra reason to cherish their prom pictures. At first, it seemed like they did not even recognise Mr Trudeau - in shorts, a t-shirt and running shoes and headphones in his ears.

Pictures of Trudeau posing with people during some kind of outdoor activity have become so frequent that one would be forgiven for wondering if they are a specific tool in the prime minister's publicity arsenal. The politician has always impressed the world with his congeniality and now with his present gesture he has proved yet again why he is the coolest Prime Minister around.

Recently in Vancouver, while a group of Canadian high school students were clicking photographs, just before entering the prom, they spotted the Prime Minister jogging past them in Stanley Park Seawall.

Mr Trudeau agreed and the students gathered together for a group shot.

Constantine Maragos told Canada's CBC: "We were just taking photos and hanging around talking, and then Trudeau, he just comes running".

The Prime Minister's official photographer Adam Scotti later posted an account of the incident on Instagram. Remember that time he just randomly popped out of a cave in Gatineau Park and took a shirtless selfie with a Quebec family?

Last August Trudeau was pictured topless at the beach in the background of a woman's wedding photos.
