Warriors' Green will be on the court for this Finals Game 5

Cleveland won games 6 and 7 to cap the greatest comeback in NBA Finals history and dethrone the Warriors.

"Well, I didn't hear it, but some of the other guys heard it and told me that that they wanted to celebrate on our floor once again and they wanted to spray champagne in our locker rooms, and I think it came from Draymond, which is okay, that's Dray anyway", LeBron James said after Game 4. It didn't bring them a championship.

Green has been heckled at the Cavs' Quicken Loans Arena throughout Games 3 and 4.

"I've been talking about this all season", Durant said. "You get punched in the face, you want to respond. It's like, 'Whoa.' You remember what can be, what can happen".

If Green could somehow summon the 2016 Game 7 version of him, the one who made six 3-pointers, scored 32 points and had 15 rebounds and nine assists, Kevin Durant and a healthy Curry could probably take it from there. Green sat in his auto in the parking lot and called Myers, telling him he had to sign Durant. "They show me how important I am to them. Let me get my money's worth if I'm going to get some techs". That's the hardest challenge, when you have that type of emotions, to channel it. "Like I said, I think because of experience".

"I really don't pay that much attention — I don't pay much attention to anybody in Cleveland honestly", Green said. Sure, it will be a tall task in Oakland with a motivated Kevin Durant trying to capture his first career title and playing like a possible Finals MVP.

White House defends Trump as scathing tweets raise concern
JULIE DAVIS: They are the statements that are the most in Trump's voice of anything we get from this White House . Yet the president's tweets , while informal, do not stick to topics of no effect .

"They messed that one up bad", Green said.

When a team hits an NBA Finals record 24 threes against you, it's likely to get one's attention and the Cavaliers certainly have the Warriors' attention in that department.

But that was in Cleveland. The Cavs will have to win that game to keep the series alive. A technical that was believed to have been called on Green in the first quarter was actually assessed to Warriors coach Steve Kerr.

Green has stayed just on the right side of the line this postseason, not in danger of an automatic suspension for technicals or flagrant accumulation.

The reporter told Durant that he was asking to explore the notion that the Warriors wanted Durant to avenge their Finals collapse a year ago. "He's confining his intensity in a more narrow lane, meaning sometimes he would spill over in areas". And also perspective and experience.

James, too, understands. He's been on both sides the previous two years.

The Warriors lost Game 5.
