PlayStation 4 PlayLink Service Introduced At E3

The new titles are created to be played in group settings and range from quiz-show style games and choose-your-own-adventure detective thrillers to arcade-style minigames and karaoke singing using the device's microphone. According to Sony, PlayLink recognises gestures likes taps, swipes, pinches, drags, tilts, and rotation, and you can even take selfies or doodle, depending on the game.

The twist here is that players will have - wait for it - hidden agendas that are sent direct to their phones, and they need to try and influence the game to get their own way. Like Until Dawn, the decisions you make will change the way the story unfolds, but this time you'll be able to play with your friends using the PlayLink feature. These games are designed for the complete family entertainment that includes those who don't play games too. The concept of PlayLink is similar to Jackbox Party games that allow many players connect over their smartphones and play addictive and short games with each other. "No matter which title you choose from our PlayLink collection, it's guaranteed to be a slick pick-up-and-play experience", Sony said in a blog post.

E3 2017: New Life Is Strange Game Officially Revealed, Release Date Announced
One of the best episodic adventure games of the last ten years, Life is unusual , is getting a somewhat surprising prequel. Life is odd prequel was leaked recently so we knew it was coming but didn't know it would be at E3 2017.

There are a few games already in the works, but the launch title is a quiz called That's You!, which will be free to all PlayStation Plus members (available on July 4).

In Hidden Agenda, there's a serial killer on the loose and murdering people. Hidden Agenda is a new narrative-driven PS4 crime thriller that's created to be played with multiple players collaborating on the characters' decisions and actions. PlayLink marks another attempt to bring more people into the gaming fold, which I can respect.
