Wallenda hangs by teeth from helicopter over Niagara Falls

Her husband, tightrope walker Nik Wallenda, said the cable wouldn't aide her performance.

"I had no idea what was going on and then, lo and behold, I found out she was holding on with her teeth and gliding over, which is a little scary".

Due to NY state laws requiring aerialists to wear a safety tether when performing above 20 people, Erendira Wallenda did wear a cable tether attached to her waist, which was meant to catch her if she fell. And if just being up that high wasn't enough of a thrill, she used the strength of her teeth to hang on, 50 feet above her husband's record. Erendira's goal is to break her husband's record.

"What I just saw was unbelievable. Even though it's like seven minutes. or maybe 10 minutes.it seems like a second to me", she said.

"They make it sound like it's not a big deal because she's done it before", said Kevin O'Brien, from Wheatfield.

"It's hard to marry somebody who doesn't walk a wire", Nik Wallenda said Wednesday, "who doesn't risk their life".

Trump to host S.Korea's Moon for White House talks
A Saturday editorial in Rodong Sinmun stated that the test-firing of an intercontinental ballistic missile was not far away. The aircraft mounted with a camera was discovered last week in a South Korean forest near the border with the North.

"Our dentist is a very understanding person", her husband added.

It was as children watching their parents perform that Nik and Erendira met. During that time, Erendira was dangling about two dozen feet - today, 300 feet.

"I thought it was pretty awesome because I don't think I could do that", said Alaina Raleeh.

Erendira's stunt was unanimously approved by the Niagara County Legislature earlier this year, and $35,000 was set aside for the event.

Nik told reporters that he's looking to build a permanent, family-friendly attraction on the US side of the Niagara Falls that would showcase his family business. Nik Wallenda recalled his wife saying at the time.

"I have not seen anything like that and honestly don't know if they even exist at this point", Tompkins said.
