Psy no longer has most-watched video on YouTube

Psy's viral hit "Gangnam Style" is no longer the most-watched video on YouTube.

Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth's music video for "See You Again" is now the most-viewed with 2.896 billion views, and it is closing in on 3 billion pretty fast.

Along with these videos, there are some more videos which have crossed the 2 billion views mark on YouTube.

If you add this up, it means that See You Again has played for 21,759 years.

Khalifa's song serves as a tribute to Furious actor Paul Walker, who died on November 30, 2013, in a auto crash while still filming the seventh instalment, and features a piano ballad by U.S. singer Charlie Puth. Gangnam Style, which has dominated the YouTube video leaderboards for the last five years, is out.

Gangnam Style rose to the top back in 2012, beating out Justin Bieber's Baby which had been the ruling clip up until PSY's phenomenal success.

Whilst Olympic fever swept the nation, a little song you may have heard of called "Gangnam Style" was released. However, its reign as YouTube's most-played video may end soon as there is another contender for the YouTube throne.

The infectious song that's loved across the planet has picked up a MASSIVE 2.483 billion views.ALREADY! Nope, it's Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth's See You Again.

Pop music videos generally top the list of most viewed YouTube videos, but only two have ever exceeded from than 2.8 billion views. That's just 400-million away from "See You Again".

In a statement, Puth said, "I remember when I signed up for YouTube in 2007 and had hopes of uploading a video and it reaching 10,000 views".
