Chris Wallace on Scaramucci: 'I Love This New Guy'

Donald Trump's new communications chief has deleted tweets in which he shared views contrary to the U.S. presidents' own, saying they were a distraction. "You're going to delegitimize his victory?"

The freakish exchange occurs, The Hill notes, "amid uncertainty on whether the president will support a bipartisan Russian sanctions bill, despite White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders insisting [Sunday] that the Trump administration supports the measure".

"I should have never said that about him", Scaramucci said. Appearing on Fox News, he said there was a need to reset the ties with the media and "create a more positive mojo".

As a professor at Harvard Law School, it makes sense that Donald Trump critic Laurence Tribe would teach students who go on to high-profile gigs.

Addressing the issue of Scaramucci's now deleted tweets criticizing the president during the campaign, the new White House communications director said he apologized to Trump and asked that they both move on from those remarks.

"How about: It was the president, Jake". The CNN host said, "You're making a lot of assertions here". For another, he said he would address leaks to the press from within the White House on Monday.

South Korea proposes military talks with North Korea
Without the hotline, the two militaries have no means of communicating quickly and directly to avoid an unintended conflict. The North will likely focus on blocking the cross-border spread of anti-Pyongyang leaflets by activists here.

"The only thing I ask Sarah, Sarah if you're watching, I love the hair and makeup person that we had on Friday, so I'd like to continue to use the hair and makeup person", he added.

This is not the first time since being appointed to his new position Friday that Scaramucci has received flack for his previous opposition to Trump.

Fresh on the job, Scaramucci found himself talking about one of the President's tweets.

I'm going to limit my remarks about the Russian Federation situation and things like that.

Far from being cowed by the report insinuating that he may wish to use a presidential pardon to escape justice, Trump tweeted that everyone agreed that the USA president had complete power to pardon anyone.

Congressional Republicans and Democrats announced Saturday they had reached an agreement on a sweeping Russian Federation sanctions package to punish Moscow for meddling in the presidential election and its military aggression in Ukraine and Syria. Spicer reportedly resigned because he was opposed to Scaramucci, whom he had to report to as press secretary. President Trump is contradicting it, and you're siding with President Trump. On Saturday, House and Senate negotiators announced an agreement on the bill.
