Liverpool '100 per cent' won't sign Naby Keita this summer - RB Leipzig

RB Leipzig coach Ralph Hassenhuttl has stated Liverpool transfer target Naby Keita will not be sold this summer to the Reds.

Liverpool had been tracking the Guinea midfielder all summer and had two bids rejected by the Bundesliga runners-up - the second of which was worth €75 million, according to owner Dietrich Mateschitz.

And, barring any U-turn from Leipzig while the transfer window is still open, Liverpool will put their interest in the 22-year-old on hold till next summer, sources have told ESPN FC.

Jurgen Klopp had targeted the Guinea worldwide, 22, as being someone who would provide drive and dynamism to his midfield and was prepared to back his judgment of the player with the biggest transfer outlay in the club's history.

RB Leipzig chief Ralf Rangnick has attempted to clarify criticism of Naby Keita's camp.

"It's important that all the players stay because we are playing for the first time in the Champions League", he said.

"The chance (of Keita leaving) is "null". It is 100 per cent clear that Naby will play this year with Leipzig.

The launch, developed by Imam Khomeini National Space Center, marked official inauguration of the space base. Tehran denies its missiles are created to carry nuclear warheads, as it has no intention to even seek nukes.

"At the beginning of the transfer period we said we would start with the same team and of the main players we had a year ago no-one will go".

A revelation in the Bundesliga last season, the all-action midfielder was at the heartbeat behind of Leipzig's improbable championship push, when he registered eight goals and created a further eight for his teammates.

The Reds have now ended their interest in Keita and instead plan on signing him next summer when his £48m release clause comes into effect.

'Everyone can see how important Naby Keita is with our game.

"We are not where we want to be yet, but that is what pre-season is for".

He said, as quoted by the Telegraph: "The new players are maybe better than people thought they will be".

"They will not be the only one I think".
