China Thinks Trump Tweets Way Too Much

"We'll handle North Korea", Trump said.

This request follows USA concerns about the threat of North Korea's nuclear and missile programs with President Trump repeatedly asking China to curb North Korea's excesses with his most recent tweet expressing his disappointment in China.

After a solid six months of angrily spurning all calls for diplomacy on North Korea, the Trump Administration today declared "the time for talk is over", and that they have no intention of seeking further UN Security Council sanctions against North Korea.

Chinese diplomats and the state news media have consistently argued that Washington and its allies should not rely so much on China to defuse tensions created by North Korea's growing nuclear weapons and missile capabilities.

The top Democrat in the US Senate is urging Donald Trump to get off of his backside and apply more economic pressure to China as the North Korea crisis accelerates.

Schumer's request comes amid increasing US concerns about the threat of North Korea's nuclear and missile programs. "The U.S. government should consider the potential for a Chinese response".

'Worst nightmare' realised for Charlie Gard's parents as legal battle ends
Michio Hirano, an American neurology expert from Columbia Medical Center in NY , came to London to examine the child . Chris Gard and Connie Yates had been fighting to take him to the USA for experimental treatment.

"We have some interesting situations that we'll handle", Trump said. Despite North Korea's recent missile tests - clear UNSC violations - it remains unclear whether China will support additional sanctions against North Korea or intends to veto efforts led by the United States, the Republic of Korea and Japan. "I felt pretty strongly that [China] had a tremendous power over North Korea".

"People talk about China a lot", he said at a news conference to mark the end of China's July term in the rotating presidency of the United Nations Security Council.

The Trump administration's threat to impose sanctions against China for failing to reign in North Korea will be very hard to enforce, Dr. Francesco Sisci of the People's University of China told Radio Sputnik.

Li maintained that Beijing also opposed Pyongyang's nuclear and missile tests.

Chinese Ambassador to the United Nations Liu Jieyi said Monday that it is up to the US and North Korea to solve the problems, not China. He said his country's objective was to achieve nuclear denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula through dialogue and negotiations.
