'Game of Thrones' episode leaked online not related to HBO hack

Despite filing multiple DMCAs, a short search on Google for "Spoils of War" will bring up at least 25 websites detailing the entire episode.

According to Entertainment Weekly, an HBO insider says the leaked episode was not related to this week's cyber attack, however, in which hackers reportedly nabbed a script from the same installment of the popular show.

A watermark on the episode (see above), suggests the screener was intended for internal use at HBO. After a security breach at the company earlier this week, the fourth episode of the seventh season of the fantasy epic Game of Thrones has been leaked online, albeit low quality. This comes after the episode premiered to 16.1 million Live+Same Day viewers, HBO's biggest premiere audience ever.

It's happened ― an episode from "Game of Thrones" has leaked online before its air date.

The screenshots drew attention towards Star India and the broadcast giant later in the evening released a media statement accepting the compromise.

HBO has not confirmed on how much data was stolen, nor is it commenting on the hackers' claims of what titles they have obtained.

The HBO hack unfurled at the start of this week, allegedly leaking unaired episodes of HBO series Insecure and Ballers, apart from GoT script treatments with the promise of more.

The RBA signals its discomfort with the rising Australian dollar
Nicholas Gruen, CEO of Lateral Economics, was far more succinct when explaining why he believed rates would remain steady. The Australian dollar climbed from $0.76 to above $0.80 over the last month, partly due to the weakness in the greenback.

Which seems completely believable now given this latest Game of Thrones leak.

A security company hired by HBO to scrub search results for the hacked files from search engines told Google in a takedown notice Tuesday that the hackers stole "thousands of Home Box Office (HBO) internal company documents".

It remains unclear whether any other future episodes will be leaked.

It's HBO versus hackers every year.

HBO chairman and CEO Richard Plepler this week sent an email to employees, alerting them about the breach.

Perhaps sensing that the hackers were about to release the episode, on Wednesday, HBO released a set of images from the upcoming episode - giving fans more hints than usual about the upcoming season.
