Filmmaker stunned as migrants dropped in Spanish enclave on jet ski

So far, 8,200 migrants have arrived in the country this year - that's triple the number compared with this time last year and already more than the total for 2016, according to Organization for Migration (IOM).

This is a different tactic to many migrants arriving from Libya, who are often packed onto leaky, overloaded boats, with the intention of summoning aid as quickly as possible.

In the early hours of Monday morning, almost 200 sub-Saharan Africans managed to reach Spanish soil after storming a border crossing between Morocco and Spain's North African enclave of Ceuta opposite Gibraltar.

Ceuta and Melilla have the EU's only land borders with Africa, and as a result, they are entry points for people desperate to get to Europe.

Footage showed hundreds of people rushing through the El Tarajal border post in the border town of Ceuta.

Once on Spanish soil in Ceuta, they are taken to migrant reception centres where they can apply for asylum. It seems like it is safer to go through Morocco to Spain than through Libya.

'They try to use attractions that are only half covered up to jump in and hide inside, ' a spokesman said.

Iran's Rouhani pledges to continue missile programme as he begins new term
The move by Trump is likely to embolden his hardline critics, who say the nuclear deal was a form of capitulation. Rouhani also made a call for unity, saying it is time to act in unison to advance Iran.

A Spanish guard can be seen breaking his lower leg while attempting to kick one of the charging migrants.

Meanwhile, 10 men from sub-Saharan Africa were rescued off the coast of Spain.

All of the migrants - about 700 - were repelled by the Moroccan and Spanish authorities.

The migrants either make it to the Spanish coast or are intercepted in the Mediterranean Sea by Spain's marine rescue service and then taken ashore.

"It is a problem for the European Union because the autonomous cities are the way to enter the continent".

Faced with the number of recent entry attempts, authorities in Ceuta have made a decision to close the border for trade for over a week, to allow guards to better man the fence.
