Kylian Mbappe Signs For Paris Saint-Germain

The transfer has delighted PSG fans as the club continues to assemble one of the most feared lineups in the world.

Paris Saint Germain have confirmed the signing of Monaco star Kylian Mbappe on a loan-deal which has stunned the footballing world.

UEFA announced on Friday that it would investigate PSG, "particularly in light of its recent transfer activity", although the club themselves have expressed surprise at the move.

Its board will meet regularly over the coming months to evaluate all documentation relating to the case.

All I've ever done is play football.

But the Uefa committee has taken the unusual step of investigating in order to support the credibility of the FFP rules and monitor how PSG account for their mammoth spending.

The UEFA statement said its financial control board had opened "a formal investigation into Paris Saint-Germain as part of its ongoing monitoring of clubs under Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations".

PSG, who broke the transfer record to sign Neymar from Barcelona for a staggering fee of €222 million, had reportedly been told by UEFA that there was no way a similar amount could be spent on an another player in the same transfer window.

Dust off new Dacia Duster
In the first seven months of 2017, Dacia registered 15,847 vehicles, a rise of 6.8% compared with the same period past year . Updates for the Duster include new styling, a better quality and more spacious cabin and tweaked engines.

"The Club recalls, if necessary, that it also has a highly significant player assets capable of generating very significant capital gains in the next two market windows (January and June) in 2018".

No explanation was given as to why Mbappe has been initially signed on loan, but local media said it was an attempt to spread the payment to ensure PSG do not fall foul of FFP rules aimed at stopping clubs with rich owners spending their way to success.

According to Deloitte figures, as reported by the BBC, PSG made a profit of €10m on revenue of €520.9m euros in the 2015/16 financial year.

"Among players of his age, he is without doubt the most promising in the world due to his huge technical, physical and mental qualities", PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi said.

Monaco, meanwhile, had added no further detail on a carefully-worded deal which, providing the permanent purchase goes through without a hitch next year, will be the second-most expensive in football history behind Neymar's transfer in a serious show of intent by the French club under the presidency of Nasser Al-Khelaifi and its Qatar-based owners.

In their response to the investigation, PSG said they had already written off €104m including wages, this summer, and hinted that more players were likely to be sold before UEFA examines its books.

Among the sanctions risked by PSG if they are found to have broken those rules is a ban from the Champions League.
