Bannon and Billionaire Mercer Tie-Up to Ensure GOP Elections Victories

Breitbart's Steve Bannon, four weeks removed from his role as chief strategist in Donald Trump's White House, covered quite a bit of ground on CBS's "60 Minutes" last night.

Steve Bannon helmed the Trump campaign through victory and spent a brief tenure in the West Wing as chief strategist.

"They do not want Donald Trump's populist, economic nationalist agenda to be implemented", Mr Bannon told 60 Minutes. A self-proclaimed "streetfighter", Bannon had come ready to brawl - mostly with other Republicans. And they're getting the story about conflict between you and H.R. McMaster.

"If you do what you said you would do, you have a willing partner in the White House".

"I hold these people in contempt", he told Charlie Rose.

House Speaker Paul Ryan has said he's pleased that Trump included a six-month delay before ending the DACA programme, saying those participants anxious about deportation should "rest easy" because Congress will work with Trump to achieve a compromise that protects them.

The drain the swamp thing was Mitch McConnell, was day one, did not want to go there, wanted us to back off.

Bannon, who described himself in the interview as a "street fighter", also said the government needed to "focus on American citizens" when Rose asked about his position on DACA, the Obama-era program that offers some protections to young undocumented immigrants.

Rose and Bannon discussed Trump's election victory in November and Bannon wasted no time toward pivoting to a favorite action of the Trump administration: bashing Hillary Clinton.

The only confidences about his early love date back to 2011, when she spoke her first kiss with the magazine Rolling Stone . Makeup addicts with skin tones like Duckie Thot to Camila Costa and 38 shades in between had reason to rejoice.

"The bishops have been bad about this", Bannon said, going on to tell Rose that the opposition was really about falling church attendances. "I think the choice is going to be, you're not going to be able to totally repeal it", he said. So if he had confirmed, Bannon wouldn't have been saying anything we didn't already know.

"I'm anxious about losing the House now because of this - because of DACA", he said.

The former chief strategist while reiterating his stance to anchor Charlie Rose was of the opinion that, President Trump would have been shielded from the ongoing investigation into possible Russian Federation meddling in the 2016 election had he not fired Comey.

"It's a waste of time", he tells Rose in the clip above.

Bannon also emphasized that Trump won't ever stop tweeting, no matter what the "pearl-clutching mainstream media" think.

According to Bannon, after the tape of Trump bragging about sexually assaulting women was released, Bannon began actively assessing the loyalties of several top Republicans and collecting names for what he called his "black book".

As Bannon admitted, Trump quickly realized that in order for the executive branch to function, they would have to rely on people with experience.

Asked why he's now doing that work outside the White House, Bannon said, "I'm not cut out to be a staffer". You can criticize him behind, but when you side with him, you have to side with him.

And while all of this was interesting, it wasn't the part of the interview that stuck with me once the show aired.
