US to impose additional sanctions over North Korea

North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un responded to President Donald Trump's warning at the United Nations with a threat of his own.

The president also said that the USA and South Korea were working on improving trade agreements though that was less important than addressing the North Korea threat.

Abe expressed his support for the new USA sanctions, saying, "Through cooperation between Japan, the United States and South Korea, we will discuss the strategy that would lead to North Korea abandoning its nuclear weapons development program in order to decide on what future steps were needed".

"This could probably mean the strongest hydrogen bomb test over the Pacific Ocean".

Although official communications from North Korea are normally filled with bellicose remarks and often met with skepticism, the country's latest one appeared to take on a more overt personal tone, according to North Korean experts. She went on to offer to mediate between world powers and Pyongyang to reach a diplomatic solution to the crisis.

Trump also expressed his appreciation to China, which recently told its banks that they could no longer do business with North Korea. That development was reported by Reuters Thursday.

BOMBSHELL: Feds Wiretapped Trump Staffer Before And After The Election
The former Trump campaign aide reportedly owes money to pro-Russian interests and has funds tied up in Cyprus, a tax haven. But again, that is very far removed from the president's claim-yet his allies have already begun spinning it .

During his first speech at the United Nations General Assembly, Trump said the United States would "totally destroy" North Korea if forced to defend itself or its allies.

A day after Trump's address, North Korea's Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho had likened Trump to a "barking dog", saying his comments were no threat to the North.

Earlier, the United Nations Security Council had condemned the launch of yet another ballistic missile by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and called on the country's leadership to halt such activities and explore resumption of honest dialogue on de-nuclearisation.

Ri was in the "Big Apple" in order to attend the UN General Assembly.

"I think the situation in North Korea is extremely serious", Trudeau replied.

The US has 28,500 troops stationed in the South, a legacy of the 1950-53 Korean War which ended in a ceasefire rather than a peace treaty. Kim has also warned that his country would conduct more missiles tests in the Pacific. "Regarding which measures to take, I don't really know since it is what Kim Jong Un does", said Ri.
