Patriots hold on to beat Chargers, 21-13

For the second-straight week, the Patriots held an opposing quarterback to fewer than 300 yards (212).

After a touchdown pass from Tom Brady to Rob Gronkowski tied the game, the Chargers went three-and-out before forcing a punt.

Another Los Angeles punt gave New England the ball back at its own 22 at the two-minute warning. After recovering with the ball, Benjamin made a decision to run from coverage - into the end zone - where he was pinned down by Matthew Slater and Jonathan Jones, giving the Patriots a safety and a 9-7 lead.

That's not great. After the safety, the Patriots kicked a field goal, extending their lead over the Chargers. Does the possible absence of Hogan mean the Patriots might dip into the possibility of trading for disgruntled Pittsburgh wide receiver Martavias Bryan before Tuesday's deadline?

The government officials said better road network will transform India's road sector through the smart tag based tolling. This will be financed by providing Rs 97,000 crore from CRF and Rs 59,000 crore as gross budgetary support (GBS).

Despite scoring 13 points, the Chargers never actually entered the red zone.

Gostkowski would redeem himself with a 21-yard field goal with 1:08 left to play in the game to put the Patriots up 21-13.

As the Patriots came rushing at him, Benjamin scooped up the ball and ran backward to evade the oncoming Patriots. With one second to play in the game, the Chargers had one more shot to the end zone, but Rivers had his pass intercepted.

The Chargers now head into their bye week with a 3-5 record before returning to the field November 12 to battle the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road.
