Mueller Investigation Has Enough Evidence to Charge Michael Flynn - Media Report

Robert Mueller has enough evidence to bring criminal charges against Donald Trump's former National Security Adviser, Michael Flynn, it has been reported.

Mr Flynn served for 24 days as Mr Trump's national security adviser but was sacked after it was discovered he had misrepresented his contacts with Sergey Kislyak, then the Russian ambassador to Washington, in a conversation with Vice President Michael Pence.

Flynn's lawyer Robert Kelner declined to comment when asked if Flynn denies any collusion with Russian Federation during the 2016 election.

Citing sources close to the investigation, NBC reported Sunday that investigators are speaking to multiple witnesses over the next few days to gather more information about Flynn's lobbying work. The investigative team is also looking into whether or not Flynn stuck a deal with Turkish President Recep Erdogan to orchestrate the removal of an Erdogan political rival from the U.S. It was also revealed last week that former foreign policy adviser for the Trump campaign, George Papadopoulos, had pleaded guilty to lying to the F.B.I.

Flynn's son, Michael G. Flynn, who worked closely with his father, accompanied him during the campaign and briefly worked on the presidential transition, could be indicted separately or at the same time as his father, according to three sources familiar with the investigation.

Sergio Aguero breaks Manchester City goalscoring record against Napoli
City boss Pep Guardiola made four changes to the team that started against West Bromwich Albion in the league at the weekend. The man he replaces as City's leading goalscorer, Brook, scored his 177 in 450 appearances between 1927 and 1939.

It seems some in Washington weren't surprised by reports signaling Trump's former national security adviser may be the next person to face charges in Mueller's prove.

Flynn's op-ed seemed out of place amid his work with Trump's campaign.

It's not clear if the request came from the State Department, as is normal, or from Flynn.

When asked what role Flynn's son, Michael G. Flynn, played in the campaign, Sanders indicated that he, too, was involved in coffee-making to the exclusion of all other responsibilities. Flynn later retroactively registered as a foreign lobbyist this year. Flynn Jr. served as chief of staff in his father's lobbying firm, Flynn Intel Group, which the elder Flynn founded after being forced out of the Defense Intelligence Agency in 2014.
