Kevin Spacey Sexual Harassment Allegations Suspends 'House of Cards' Production

Former Boston TV news anchor Heather Unruh said Wednesday that her teenage son was sexually assaulted by Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey at a Nantucket restaurant in the summer of 2016.

Unruh said her son did not report the incident at the time "largely because of embarrassment and fear".

Unruh said her son told Spacey that he was of the legal drinking age.

The family lawyer also told reporters Wednesday that his client had spoken to Nantucket police, who were investigating.

Shortly after the alleged event occurred last summer, Unruh said she informally spoke with the Nantucket sheriff and only officially reported the matter last week.

Police said they couldn't confirm a report was filed because sexual assault reports are confidential.

Georgia tops first CFP rankings, followed by Alabama, Notre Dame and Clemson
The Crimson Tide , the only team who has made the College Football Playoff since the format's inception in 2014, is at No. 2. Georgia and Alabama are unbeaten and now on course to meet in the SEC Championship game in Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The scores of women who have accused Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault, and actor Anthony Rapp levelling the first public accusations against Spacey had motivated them to speak publicly now, Unruh said.

A few weeks later, she said: "The dominoes are falling".

Her son is represented by Mitchell Garabedian, an attorney best known for representing clergy sex abuse victims. That's when a woman Unruh and Garabedian are now pleading to to come forward approached the visibly shaken teen to ask if he was OK. But that isn't why Talese wants to profile Spacey, who is now facing mounting sexual harassment allegations from various men claiming that they were sexually harassed by the actor, some when they were as young as 14.

Unruh said she "wants to see" Spacey go to jail and have the "hand of justice come down on him". "That was an appalling attempt to deflect attention away from what you really are: a sexual predator". "No other information will be available at this time".

A former production assistant who worked on the show in its early seasons detailed an incident where he picked up Spacey and drove for him.

"While we continue the ongoing investigation into the serious allegations concerning Kevin Spacey's behavior on the set of House of Cards, he has been suspended, effective immediately", the statement read. Spacey apologized in an October 29 tweet - his last - but also said he had no memory of the alleged encounter.
