Kevin Spacey dropped from Ridley Scott film and replaced by Christopher Plummer

In the wake of fresh allegations of sexual harassment, Kevin Spacey has been replaced by Christopher Plummer in Ridley Scott's upcoming film about oil magnate J Paul Getty, just a month before its release. The movie chronicles the kidnapping of Getty's 16-year-old grandson, John Paul Getty III. With her son's life in the balance, Gail and Getty's advisor (Mark Wahlberg) become unlikely allies in the race against time that ultimately reveals the true and lasting value of love over money.

"To Kevin Spacey, I want to say this: Shame on you for what you did to my son", Unruh said, flanked by her daughter and lawyer Mitchell Garabedian, who has represented hundreds of clergy sexual abuse victims. Imperative Entertainment financed the film, and Friedkin and Thomas produced along with Scott Free's Scott and Kevin J. Walsh, Quentin Curtis and Chris Clark.

"All the Money In The World" is the latest project to distance itself from Spacey.

United States network Netflix has axed further production of Mr Spacey's House of Cards drama, the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced it would no longer give the actor a special Emmy award, and his agent and publicist dropped him as a client. Spacey had been Sony's big Oscar hopeful as his unrecognizable turn as the mogul was pegged for Best Supporting Actor consideration, but those prospects were dashed completely when news of Spacey's alleged behavior began to spread. Spacey was set to play the the elder Getty, and the decision to reshoot his role entirely, especially so close to the film's release date, is extremely unprecedented.

Many days begin with a "general conversation" about it before they start other business, "but it is very distracting for him". Thanksgiving could be pretty tense at whatever Trump golf resort the first family chooses to celebrate the upcoming holiday.

The latest accusation against Spacey came Wednesday, when a former television news anchor accused him of sexually molesting her son a year ago when he was 18.

The claims against Spacey span from the mid-1980s to past year.
