LiAngelo Ball Is Leaving UCLA Without Having Played a Game

LaVar Ball is notorious for doing things his way.

By doing this, LaVar Ball will only enhance the skepticism that his youngest son, five-star point guard LaMelo Ball, will never wind up playing for UCLA.

The three players were subsequently suspended indefinitely by the team after returning to the United States.

He even recently was on CNN, refusing to thank President Donald Trump for his involvement in releasing his son, LiAngelo Ball, from China.

"They don't know how to coach my son", LaVar Ball said in November, according to Bleacher Report.

The announcement comes just two months after Ball made a decision to pull his other son, LaMelo, out of Chino Hills High School. "If I was going to thank somebody I'd probably thank President Xi (Jinping)", LaVar Ball said to CNN's Chris Cuomo.

Report: LaVar Ball Pulls LiAngelo From UCLA Following Suspension Over China Incident

LiAngelo Ball's UCLA career would appear to be over.

So what's next for LiAngelo Ball? But a school might be willing to take a chance on him, though it's doubtful that it will be a program as prestigious as UCLA. But even without a landing spot, Lavar feels he can prepare LiAngelo for the National Basketball Association better than a college team can.

It's doubtful that LiAngelo Ball can land a big contract in Europe, but there might be some teams willing to sign him.

It appears the main one of those options is to prepare the player for June's National Basketball Association draft.

What seems certain is that he won't play in China.
