Instagram To Show 'Recommended' Posts In Feeds From Accounts Users Don't Follow

The feature has been described in the official website's Help documentation section.

Get ready, because Instagram is changing again. The Instagram Help Center has posted instructions - all you have to do is go to the Recommended for You section, tap iPhone or Android and then click hide.

BI Intelligence, Business Insider's premium research service, has put together a report on social media demographics that highlights the key audience demographics for six major social platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. The posts are clearly labelled and the app will introduce three to five suggested posts. The new feature has gone live quietly but it's not really the first time that Instagram is toying with the idea. Instagram users would have to select the "Explore" section in order to view all the recommended posts on the platform.

Now alive and breathing, this feature suggests 3-5 posts by mirroring photos/videos that have already been liked by accounts partakers voluntarily chose to follow.

Wedbush Brokers Raise Earnings Estimates for Accenture Plc
Equities research analysts anticipate that Accenture PLC will post $5.90 earnings per share for the current year. Csu Producer Res holds 12.79% or 20,000 shares. 182,068 are owned by Bartlett & Limited Liability Company.

Many new app companies are looking to include algorithms for informational sources. Previously, this wasn't pushed onto your home feed. The recommended posts from accounts that users aren't already following will appear in a user's normal Instagram feed.

Instagram has been rolling out new features over the past months, with one of them being the ability to follow hashtags in the same way that users would when viewing accounts.

However, there is one fundamental difference between the hashtag feature and the new "recommended posts" feature.

There's no doubt that there will be a number of users who will not like the "recommended posts" feature. In early December, the social media platform rolled out testing for their "Recommended for You" section.
