Details from Alabama officials in child sexual assault viral video arrest

Germain Moore, 44, of Detroit, is in custody in Alabama after turning himself in, in connection to the video showing sexual abuse of a child. They issued a stern warning that not only is the child sex assault a crime, but so is sharing the video.

A woman, Tonya Moore, was taken into custody Monday night in connection with the investigation.

Moore is wanted for other felony charges here in Alabama as well as for sexually assaulting three girls in Detroit, Michigan. According to Wayne County prosecutors, Moore is the uncle of the nine, ten and 12-year-old girls who were abused over a six-year period that ended last year. Unfortunately, authorities say watching and sharing that video is also considered a crime. In Alabama, Crime Stoppers executive director Tony Garrett tells Al.com that more charges are expected om that state as well.

The child porn video that enraged the country last week is not local and the man seen recording a child performing oral sex on himself surrendered to U.S. police this morning.

Police said the victim has been located and is safe.

Earlier Monday, Montgomery police announced the arrest of Jerrell Washington, 42, of Montgomery, on one count each of possession and dissemination of child pornography, said Montgomery police Capt. Regina Duckett. "It is alleged the defendant sexually assaulted the children at his mother's home in Detroit and at his home in Alabama".

Cameron Norrie with head held high despite Davis Cup defeat
As well as Norrie played, he was never in front in the match and the effort of coming from behind finally told in the fourth set. Norrie then fell 3-0 down in the third set but twice came back from a break down to force a second tie-break.

The Gary Police Department posted a message on its Facebook page Tuesday urging anyone who sees or receives the video to report the video and delete it immediately.

He is accused of sexually assaulting the children at his mother's home in Detroit and at his home in Alabama while they were in his care between 2011 and 2017. Authorities say he was not involved in the creation of the video, but that he shared it. He is being held in Montgomery County on a $100,000 bond.

The three victims all children under the age of 13.

The video circulated on Facebook and other social media. Regardless of intention, sharing such imagery is harmful and illegal.

According to investigators, the children have "aged" since the video. "Notify the authorities ... so that we can quickly take action".
