Cavs land Hood, Hill in three-way deal with Jazz, Kings

Utah placed Rodney Hood, who will be a restricted free agent this summer, on the trade block last month.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski previously reported the Jazz acquired Rose from the Cleveland Cavaliers as part of a three-team deal that also included the Sacramento Kings. He has shown just that this season playing in both roles as he's now averaging a career-high 16.8 points on 42.4 percent shooting from the field and 38.9 percent from beyond the arc. The Jazz wanted to get an asset for him before having to decide if they were going to match an offer from another team.

Shumpert averaged 4.4 points in just 14 games this season.
