Significant Rainfall Expected In Region

Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for the entire Ottawa region, calling for 25 to 40 mm of rain by Wednesday morning.

Toronto will experience a slow rise in temperatures this week which will contribute to steady rainfall and potential flooding. However, multi-day rainfall totals in the 20-30 mm range are expected in some areas.

Near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring Tuesday morning.

Mike Pence Criticizes 'The View' for Religion "Insult"
Hostin said she is a "faithful" Catholic but doesn't want her vice president "speaking in tongues". For Pence, his faith is completely something that guides his life.

With warmer temperatures and "significant" rainfall set to arrive in southern Ontario on Tuesday and Wednesday, officials say there is an increased chance of localized flooding. This is below Environment Canada's criterion for rainfall warning when the ground is frozen.

Toronto will see a high of 15 C on Tuesday. A final band of rain is likely along a cold front Wednesday, bringing the rain to an end.

This wet, record mild spell is attributed to a series of low pressure systems moving along a warm front draped across the lower Great Lakes. "Ponding may occur in low-lying areas", a flood outlook issued by Toronto and Region Conservation stated. The weather agency forecasts a high of 13 C, a 0.1 C higher than the current record high of 12.9 C reached in 1997.
