Pari is Anushka's best film ever, claims Virat Kohli

The first thing that comes to our mind when we talk about Pari (Angel) is the princess with a handsome dress and pretty face, but Anushka's look will leave you intrigued as she shows the dark side of her life in this film.

"Pari's script, dialogues and storyline go against our Islamic values".

The censor board claimed that the film approved some kind of black magic which is "un-Islamic".

WWE Elimination Chamber 2018 Impulse Reactions
Ronda Rousey tossed Triple H through a table at WWE's " Elimination Chamber " on Sunday night in Las Vegas. She appears headed for the mix-tag match - reported as the plan for weeks - against Triple H and his wife.

The censor board of Pakistan too banned Pari citing that it has objectionable scenes where verses from the Quran have ben used, shared a cinema owner while talking to Geo TV. These screamer videos have actually turned out to be the best promotional technique and built the curiosity about the film.

No information is available as to why the film has been banned.

"We can't allow our film distributors to import films which are against our traditions and culture", Federal Censor Board member Ishaq Ahmed said, reported PTI news agency. Pari is rare for Hindi cinema because makers here don't pour out pure horror films without either mixing it with comedy or a romantic track with agonist songs. Last month, it banned Akshay Kumar starrer Padman saying it dealt with a taboo subject. The apprehension around its release stemmed from the fact that a significant section of viewers in India alleged that the film portrays Islam in a bad light, owing to the barbaric mannerisms of Alauddin Khilji depicted in the film. According to ANI News, Indian Motion Pictures Producers' Association (IMPPA) has refused to withdraw its ban on Pakistani artists working in India.
