Senate Judiciary Witness: Trump loves listening to rap songs about himself

The 2,500 pages of documents the Senate Judiciary Committee released Wednesday show a wide-ranging investigation into the circumstances surrounding the Trump Tower meeting, with lengthy interviews, text messages and other emails.

Phone records shared with the committee show that the younger Mr. Trump called a blocked number before and after calls with Emin Agalarov, a pop star in Russian Federation whose family is friendly with the Trumps, to arrange the meeting, and again on the night of the meeting. The meeting is one of pillars of Mueller's research and of Judicial Committee itself, which has not yet announced its conclusions.

Democrats will say the episode shows Trump Jr. was willing to accept Russian help, prompting deep questions about his father's election.

This is key because Trump Jr. wasn't completely clear about what he was talking about.

Q: "And what about the thing that says, 'It is part of Russian Federation and its government's support for Mr. Trump.' Did you also love that?" "The meeting was instead primarily focused on Russian adoptions".

In which he agreed to hold meeting, Natalia Veselnitskaya was presented as a "Russian government attorney" who, as "part of Russia's support and her government to Trump", had compromising information about Democrat Hillary Clinton.

Donald Trump Jr. shut down the June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower by telling his Russian guests perhaps they'd revisit the discussion about lifting sanctions legislation should his father win the election.

The current status of the Federal Bureau of Investigation inquiry, part of Justice Department special counsel Robert Mueller's broad counterintelligence and criminal inquiries into Russia's election interference, is unclear. Publicist Rob Goldstone said his source could provide "official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary [Clinton] and her dealings with Russian Federation".

Schiff said Trump Jr. invoked the privilege because his lawyers claimed that the discussion with his father took place in the presence of legal counsel, which Schiff and other Democrats argued is a situation not covered by the privilege.

Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos Had An Absolute Nightmare Against Sevilla
Sergio Ramos in this match managed to surprise a lot - missed a penalty, got booked and scored an own goal, and then Sevilla . Defeat at Sevilla last night leaves Real third in the LaLiga table and 18 points behind champions Barcelona .

People are zeroing in on a four-minute mystery call between Donald Trump Jr. and a blocked number. He also said he didn't think there was anything wrong with attending the Trump Tower meeting in which he was promised dirt on Hillary Clinton. The meeting was being arranged at the direct request of Donald Trump, he testified. "I don't know about phone calls, I don't know who called who, that's why we got Mueller", said Sen.

The Committee's investigation remains incomplete, including review of this meeting.

In his testimony, he said he did not know whether his father was directly involved in explanations about the meeting that reportedly contained discrepancies, but acknowledged the president "may have" influenced the messaging through then-White House communications assistant Hope Hicks. For example, Trump Jr. "I don't know", he said, when asked whether his father used a blocked number. Veselnitskaya declined to be interviewed, but provided written answers to questions.

"During the campaign, Mr. Torshin, Ms. Butina, and their intermediaries repeatedly offered the campaign back channels to Russian Federation and relayed requests from President Putin to meet with Mr. Trump", the Democratic report said. "Their efforts to hide the meeting and its true goal are consistent with a larger pattern of false statements about the Trump campaign's relationship with Russian Federation".

Trump Jr.'s wife, Vanessa, has since filed for divorce.

The Senate committee's findings clash with the House GOP's determination that the intelligence community did not follow its own best practices in concluding the Kremlin favored Trump in the election.

Matt Viser tweeted "Rob Goldstone, who set up the Trump Tower meeting, grew frustrated a year later and vents to his longtime client Emin Agalarov".

"Q. So at the time you sent this email, did you have any reason to believe that the Russian Government was making efforts to interfere in the US presidential election?"
