WHAT'S HAPPENING: Trump order sows confusion on the border

The first lady wore the jacket during a trip to a Texas facility holding children separated from their parents after they were apprehended attempting to cross the southern USA border.

Emblazoned on the back of the jacket is the slogan "I really don't care, do you?"

FLOTUS spox confirms Mrs. Trump wore a jacket to visit border kids that reads: "I really don't care".

President Donald Trump insisted the jacket was a stab at 'Fake News Media'.

It would not be the first time for such an arrangement.

Grisham was referencing Melania Trump's decision to wear stiletto heels this past August when she and her husband traveled to Houston in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

The conflicting statements have done little to quell the outrage over the jacket's message, with critics calling it tone-deaf and offensive in light of the highly divisive family separation policy unfolding at the Texas-Mexico border. First lady Melania Trump, in private conversations with the president, urged him to do something, a White House official said.

Oil prices rise as OPEC meets
That would effectively mean a boost from producers such as Saudi Arabia that have voluntarily cut more deeply than planned. Russia, which isn't a member of OPEC but has gained influence in the oil group, wants an increase of 1.5 million bpd.

"It's the first thing that made me really not like her", McCain later said.

"These are the American citizens permanently separated from their loved ones, the word "permanently" being the one you have to think about", Trump said Friday afternoon at an event with the family members.

The influential lady arrived at Andrews Air Force base in Maryland wearing the jacket but changed the attire as the plane landed in McAllen, Texas.

Meghan continued to point out that while she frequently disagrees with the other ladies of The View on big issues, at least they all care about what happens in this country.

Melania Trump visited the Upbring New Hope Children's Shelter, a federally-funded facility that houses about 55 children from Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador, ages five to 17.

Her jacket prompted a maelstrom on social media over what it meant. Amid photos and audio of separated children and a critical outcry, President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Wednesday that he said would keep migrant parents and children together, although it's legality is not yet clear. "I also like to ask you how I can help to be sure these children reunite with their families as quickly as possible".

But the policy resulted in more than two thousand children being separated from their parents.
