‘Trump Baby’ balloon takes flight in central London amid protests

US President Donald Trump on Friday said he apologised to UK Prime Minister Theresa May over his bombshell interview with a British tabloid, in which he claimed she had ignored his advice on Brexit and praised former Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson's potential as a possible premier.

In his joint press conference with Mrs May on Friday, President Trump appeared to row back on an earlier newspaper interview in which he said the Government's latest proposals would kill off the prospect of a deal with the US.

Trump may be referring to his past feud with London Mayor Sadiq Khan, who has been outspoken about his disapproval of Trump's visit.

Despite saying a blimp depicting Mr Trump as a whingeing nappy-clad baby had made him feel unwelcome in London he is expected to be playing golf while Saturday's protests take place.

The First Lady also played a game of bowls, engaging with gusto despite being in high heels, as she took part in a spouses' event hosted by British Prime Minister Theresa May's husband Philip.

He then urged reporters to listen to a full recording of the interview, which he said would give the full picture.

France Hands Belgium First Loss, Advances To Finals
The most unpredictable and entertaining FIFA World Cup in recent memory wraps up this week, with just four matches left to be played.

Describing the remarks as "frankly embarrassing", the Labour leader said: "He lives in a democracy where people have a right to free speech, a right to demonstrate and a right to express themselves".

"We will do a trade deal with them and with others around the rest of the world", she added. "I never said anything bad about her", Trump said. As they strolled the grounds to make their way inside the castle, he walked in front of the queen - a big no-no. "Our countries are meant to have a special relationship, yet you publicly criticized the prime minister's policy and her personally for not listening to you this week".

They met on the dais in the castle's Quadrangle, and the U.S. national anthem was played on his arrival.

The president told The Sun that while he is in the United Kingdom, he would like to see Johnson, who, "obviously likes me, and says very good things about me". "I really look forward to meeting her".

Asked if now was the moment for Johnson to lead the country, Bannon, who was sacked by the White House in August 2017, said: "I believe moments come". "I haven't been there in a long time".

"She is not making it very clear what she actually wants at all and the White Paper, I suspect, will unravel as quickly as the Chequers cabinet agreement did".
