IN politicians come to Coats' defense after Russian Federation summit — IN Focus

Before his Aspen Security Forum appearance, Coats was already portrayed as a voice of dissent in the Trump administration by the mainstream media for seemingly standing up to Trump in the wake of the Helsinki summit, which Trump's opponents dubbed "disastrous" and "nothing short of treason".

Trump adds on the Putin meeting: "Also, we got along very well, which is a good thing, except for the Corrupt Media!"

The poll was taken beginning the day before Trump's Helsinki summit, so includes respondents who were exposed to some of the furious blowback after Trump called Putin's denial of meddling in the USA election 'powerful'.

Trump's overall approval rating ticked up to 45 per cent in the latest Wall Street Journal / NBC poll, a high point for his presidency.

Coats went on to say, "I and the entire intel community are committed to providing the best possible intelligence to inform and support President Trump's ongoing efforts to prevent Russian meddling in our upcoming elections, to build strong relationships internationally in order to maintain peace, denuclearize risky regimes and protect our nation and our allies".

"President Putin, he just said it's not Russian Federation".

GOP Sen. John McCain called Trump's performance at the news conference "disgraceful", and House Speaker Paul Ryan publicly contradicted the president when he said "there is no question that Russian Federation interfered in our election".

Kerber defeats Williams to win Wimbledon
Williams is a seven-time Wimbledon champion and her 23 major trophies rank second all-time to Margaret Court . She's been wearing compression leggings during her matches as a precaution and says she remains nervous.

"When he goes out and does these events, I will call them, it actually helps him in flyover country", McLaughlin said.

"The disconnect can not continue", Gowdy said on Fox News on Sunday (Monday NZT). By contrast, 80 percent of Democrats now say Trump has weakened USA leadership around the world. Special Counsel Robert Mueller is still investigating potential collusion between Russian Federation and Trump's campaign.

During his Twitter rampage, Trump also claimed that the wiretap order was granted on false and misleading information.

That "Fake Dirty Dossier" is "responsible for starting the totally conflicted and discredited Mueller Witch Hunt!"

Trump subsequently said he misspoke, but has not acknowledged that he repeatedly put the U.S. intelligence community's assessment and Putin's denials on the same footing.

Legal analysts noted that intelligence agents had good reason to suspect Page had a relationship with Russia, and that the Federal Bureau of Investigation found much of the dossier to be credible; they noted that four judges, all appointed by Republicans, signed off on the Page warrant and that Mueller recently obtained indictments on a dozen Russian intelligence officials on charges of election sabotage. But the President Trump disagreed, saying the summit was a success and had gone "even better" than a meeting with North Atlantic Treaty Organisation allies last week.
