Nerve-agent victim released from British hospital after poisoning

"'Dawn leaves behind her family, including three children, and our thoughts and prayers are with them at this extremely hard time".

Ms Sturgess collapsed at her boyfriend Charlie Rowley's home in nearby Amesbury on June 30.

Sturgess initially collapsed at an address in Amesbury on June 30 and was taken to the hospital, police said.

Senior coroner David Ridley headed a brief hearing Thursday, but said the cause of Dawn Sturgess' death won't be given until further tests are completed.

The bottle was the source of Sturgess' fatal dose, according to investigators.

A 45-year-old British man who was left critically ill after being exposed to the Soviet-era nerve agent Novichok has regained consciousness, the hospital treating him said on Tuesday.

"I'm very surprised because when I first saw him I thought he would be there for months", said Matthew Rowley.

Britain's Press Association, citing a source close to the investigation, reports, "Investigators believe they have identified the suspected perpetrators of the novichok attack through CCTV and have cross-checked this with records of people who entered the country around that time".

Bryce Harper’s HR Derby win scores Nats fans $1 tickets
Bryce Harper , who said he was exhausted after taking his cuts in the first round , certainly appeared gassed in the final round. Since making his debut in Major League Baseball in 2015, many envisioned the Cubs' young slugger participating in this event.

As it turned out, while walking down the street Rowley and Sturgess found a bottle, which they thought was perfume.

Britain blames Russia's government for the March attack, a claim Moscow strongly denies. Rowley remains in the hospital.

Health officials on July 20 said 45-year-old Charlie Rowley "is well enough" to be discharged from Salisbury District Hospital and that his release into the public "creates no risk to anyone in the community".

One of two Britons poisoned by a nerve agent that was used to poison a former Russian agent was discharged from hospital on Friday.

Counter-terrorism police are investigating five sites in Salisbury and Amesbury, in an attempt to identify where the couple came into contact with the nerve agent.

Queen Elizabeth Gardens has been sealed off while teams of investigators conduct forensic searches throughout the park.

Salisbury District Hospital say their thoughts are with the family and friends of Charlie's partner, Dawn Sturgess at this time 'as they go through the hard process of coming to terms with her death'.

He said his brother could not remember where they had found the bottle.
