Cardiff City FC fans are being encouraged to pick up a nextbike and beat the traffic for the Club's first home game of the Premier League season this Saturday.

It earned the Bluebirds a point, which they will take to John Smith's Stadium next weekend when they face Huddersfield Town.

Newcastle rode their luck at times and there could be added concern for them after Kenedy appeared to kick out at Cardiff's Spanish midfielder Victor Camarasa in the first half.

The Magpies finished the game with 10 men after half-time substitute Isaac Hayden was dismissed in the in the 66th minute.

When Sean Morrison saw a cross from Muto strike his arm, he was mortified to see the referee, Craig Pawson, award a penalty.

There is no doubting that Newcastle should be confident coming into this game; Cardiff are under pressure to deliver in front of their own fans, especially after losing their opening game at Bournemouth.

Man Utd scorer Shaw: "The best feeling in my career"
He also won the World Cup this summer, starring for France as they beat Croatia in the final. Naturally, not everyone was as pleased for Shaw as his teammates and the home supporters.

A Joe Ralls delivery picked out Sol Bamba's head, but he was denied by an outstretched leg from close range. The winger was sloppy on the ball the entire match and according to OptaJoe, he is the first player since 2010 to play the entire first half and complete zero passes.

VĂctor Camarasa was the man who won it back for Cardiff.

"He's in his a year ago now and it'll be interesting to see how that develops because he'll be targeted around the world I'm sure". Neil Warnock will have been pleased with his team's display in the opening 45 minutes.

Leicester showed that teams outside the top six can win the Premier League but that is a long way off for us to even be thinking about. That season was a one off but they showed anything is possible.

"It was a poor penalty, he's not happy he missed a good chance", the Spaniard told BBC's Match of the Day.
