Here Is What Brett Kavanaugh Said About Sexual Misconduct In His Hearings

She says that both boys were "stumbling drunk" and that the friend watched as Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed and clumsily tried to pull off her clothes. When she tried to scream, he put his hands over her mouth.

She says she was able to get away after Kavanaugh's friend jumped on top of them and everyone tumbled.

Kavanaugh has vehemently denied the allegation, saying in a statement: "I did not do this back in high school or at any time". In fact, in 2012, she discussed the attack during therapy with her husband.

Ford initially sought to keep her identity private.

A spokeswoman for Rep. Anna Eshoo, D-Calif., declined to confirm reports that the congresswoman had forwarded a letter containing the allegations to Feinstein. She claims that, while in high-school, Kavanaugh and Mark Judge corralled her in a bedroom.

Feinstein called on the FBI to investigate Ford's story "before the Senate moves forward on this nominee". Kavanaugh has said he never remembered witnessing Kozinski sexually harass anyone.

Feinstein had been criticized for not publicizing Ford's allegations, which Feinstein had previously learned of through a "third party", a spokesman said last week.

A father of two young girls, Kavanaugh might decide to spare his family what inevitably will be a few weeks of scrutiny and discussion about Ford's charges. It added the letter to Kavanaugh's file but has not opened a criminal investigation.

The therapist's notes from the time, seen by the Post, do not mention Kavanaugh by name but otherwise echo the claim, describing an attack by students "from an elitist boys' school" who went on to become "highly respected and high-ranking members of society in Washington".

Canelo Alvarez beats Gennady Golovkin in narrow decision for middleweight title
The Mexican won the rematch on points following a frenetic encounter as Golovkin suffered the first defeat of his career. Scores of 115-113 either way or a draw were easy conclusions to reach, meaning any talk of controversy is unwarranted.

As it stands now, this is simply an attempt to smear a man who had an impeccable reputation in high school.

After the Post's article went up, Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee released a statement again questioning the timing of the accusations and why Sen.

On Thursday, Senator Dianne Feinstein, the senior Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, announced cryptically that she had forwarded to the Federal Bureau of Investigation "information from an individual concerning the nomination". Kavanaugh was born in 1965, so he would have been a teenager at the time. "For these and other reasons detailed below, I strongly oppose Judge Kavanaugh's nomination to the Supreme Court".

Earlier this week Mr Kavanaugh strenuously denied the accusations.

Committee Republicans also released a statement Sunday dismissing the new revelations as "uncorroborated allegations from more than 35 years ago".

Reporters, Ford said, had begun to make contact with her after the anonymous description emerged.

But her story leaked as it was reported Feinstein had the letter and was refusing to share it with her Democratic colleagues.

"Maybe she did not understand what she should do with confidential information, and while I'm not absolutely criticizing her on that, if I'd had that information, I think that I would have treated it differently", Waters said.

"Zero. Nada. Zilch. She didn't say anything in the confirmation hearings", he lamented.
