Kavanaugh's fellow Yalies transfixed by Senate hearing

Harvard Law spokespeople twice declined to comment and once did not respond to the Crimson's multiple requests for clarity on whether Harvard will allow Kavanaugh to continue serving as a Lecturer on Law.

The association says the U.S. Senate should delay its vote on Kavanaugh's nomination pending an Federal Bureau of Investigation review.

An attorney for PJ Smyth, another person who Ford said was in the house when she was attacked, said his client "is happy to cooperate fully with this FBI investigation".

The ongoing confirmation hearing of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh has captured national attention, including in classrooms.

Kavanaugh repeatedly cited a letter signed by 65 women who said they knew him in high school and that "he has behaved honourably and treated women with respect", but one of the signatories has just renounced her support.

It was clear Republicans were still short of votes for final Senate approval after Thursday's hearing. Kavanaugh strongly denied the allegation.

"They were very disrespectful, at least verbally, with Renate", Sean Hagan, a Georgetown Prep student at the time, said of Kavanaugh and his teammates, in an interview with the Times.

In one email dated September 24, Avenatti said he had reason to believe a reference to the "FFFFFFFourth of July" which appears on Kavanaugh's yearbook memoriam was an acronym for a series of obscene acts performed with women, while his listed membership in the "Devil's Triangle" pertains to group sex with women.

Liz Swisher, one of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's former Yale University classmates, appears in an interview with CNN's Chris Cuomo, Friday, Sept. 28, 2018. He'd do so, Flake said, if the vote was delayed a week so the FBI could investigate "credible allegations" against the nominee. Two of Kavanaugh's classmates told The New York Times that "Renate Alumnius" is an inside joke about supposed sexual conquests with Schroeder.

'Brett was getting tapped in and he was incredibly drunk, in a ridiculous outfit and had to come up to me and sing a silly song, ' she said. I did some stupid things, but I never sexually assaulted anybody.

Flake, a 55-year-old senator from Arizona who is not running for re-election this year, sat through Thursday's nine-hour Senate Judiciary Committee hearing and testimony by Kavanaugh and the woman accusing him of assault, Christine Blasey Ford. "But I don't think we did", Coleman said.

Avenatti, who is also the lawyer for Stormy Daniels, who is involved in a legal dispute with President Donald Trump over an alleged affair, said that he "will disclose the client's name and accusations [against Kavanaugh] only when SHE is ready and we have adequate security measures in place".

Four of the players who were pictured with Judge Kavanaugh in the photo captioned "Renate Alumni" told the Times it was simply a reference to "innocent dates" or going to dances with Dolphin. Is that, I drank too much in college.

The yearbook seemed to disrespect a woman named "Renate", who in the page Kavanaugh said he was an "alumnius" of.

A good agent, he said, "would address Kavanaugh's behavior and demeanor and credibility during his high school years".

Sumer Ghazala, a first-year law student, said some students felt they had a special responsibility to speak out because of the school's connection to Kavanaugh.
