Dark Horse Candidates That Could Land Jimmy Butler

Earlier this week, reports indicate that Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor is willing to trade Jimmy Butler, but it's hard to imagine them getting equal value in return for the four-time All-Defensive Second Team member.

Recent reports have stated that the Timberwolves' asking price in any trade for the point guard is too steep for some teams to cooperate with.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Timberwolves are asking for proven veterans, future assets, cap space and prospects.

Butler has not been with the team since last week when he informed the Timberwolves of his desire to be traded.

Still, Butler's request is a curveball thrown at a less-than-ideal time with training camp set to start Tuesday, Sept. 25.

Would acquiring Jimmy Butler enhance the Heat's ceiling for the 2018-19 National Basketball Association season? Wojnarowski has also mentioned the Phoenix Suns as a team that could force its way into discussions; they have reportedly had interest in Tyus Jones in the past, so they could be a team to watch.

The Athletic's Sam Amick reported Thursday afternoon that the Sixers have decided not to pursue MinnesotaTimberwolves superstar Jimmy Butler after some preliminary conversations between the two sides.

Jaitley lowers petrol, diesel prices by Rs 2.5 per litre
The new fuel prices would be effective in the state from this midnight, an official spokesman said. If the Centre is serious, it should reduce the tax to what it was when it assumed office.

Does that mean Butler will be headed to Miami after one season in Minnesota?

If Cleveland is going to make trades, they need to not swing at one-year rental possibilities.

They could look to make a three-team trade in order to make the deal happen. Wiggins said having Butler for a year in Minnesota was "definitely a positive".

Minnesota and Miami have seriously discussed several frameworks of a potential deal for Jimmy Butler, including ones with Heat's Josh Richardson.

Nevertheless, teams remain interested in acquiring Butler, who averaged 22.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.9 assists for the Timberwolves last season.

One can only hope that the next team doesn't have to give up so much for Butler, especially in a contract year.
