Israeli settlers stone to death Palestinian woman in West Bank

Top Palestinian official and member of Fatah, Ahmad Majdalani, said the party remains suspicious of the Qatari role in meddling in the affairs of the Gaza Strip, controlled by Hamas.

Addressing the unrest, Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman made a decision to cut Qatari fuel shipments into the Gaza Strip in response to the mass protests.

The Israeli army has not commented on the attack.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said about 15,000 Palestinians gathered along fence.

The Israeli military said that the demonstrators, numbering around 14,000, had been "hurling rocks, explosive devices, fire bombs and grenades" at Israeli troops and at the fence.

Seven Palestinians were killed in all and at least 252 were injured in intense clashes with Israeli security forces along the Gaza border on Friday afternoon and evening, the Hamas-run health ministry said.

In recent weeks, protests have begun occurring on other days as well, ratcheting up the tension between Israel and militant factions in Gaza, led by Hamas.

"The assailants were killed", it said, without giving a number.

Mr Trump said Mr Kavanaugh was "caught up in a hoax that was set up by the Democrats ", as he left for a trip to Florida . Ford said she was "100 per cent" certain that Kavanaugh was her attacker; Kavanaugh steadfastly denied her allegations .

Thousands of Palestinians marched on Friday after convening at five locations along the fence, with Israeli troops responding from across the barrier with tear gas and gunfire.

Around 200 Palestinians have so far been killed and over 20,000 others wounded in the renewed Gaza clashes, according to the latest figures released by the Gaza Health Ministry.

Palestinian mourners across the Gaza Strip held funerals for seven protesters killed by Israeli forces during the weekly rallies on Friday.

The army said several Gazans tried to infiltrate into Israel again on Saturday through the fence but returned after being warned by the military. During one protest in July, a Gaza sniper shot and killed an Israeli soldier.

Protesters demand the right of return to their homes and villages in historical Palestine from which they were driven in 1948 to make way for the new state of Israel.

Nearly every evening, thousands of Gazans have been gathering for violent demonstrations at the Erez crossing and elsewhere, in what is regarded by some as part of Hamas's attempts to signal to Israel that it wants an economic solution to the Gaza Strip.

They added that Hamas leader Ismail Haniya also attended the protests east of Gaza City and hailed the ongoing demonstrations.
