Apple revitalizes MacBook Air with Retina screen and fresh internals

Considering this success story, its weird that Apple has neglected the MacBook Air for so many years. It's late to the game, sure, but now that it is here and with the holiday season upon us, Apple is likely going to sell a lot of these in the coming months.

Apple finally updated its entry-level desktop computer Mac mini - the first since 2014, unveiling the new device at an event in New York City on Tuesday (Oct 30).

The new MacBook Air has a 13.3in retina display, thinner bezels and new stereo speakers that are 25% louder than the previous version. On the top right side of that keyboard, you'll also find a Touch ID fingerprint reader.

Battery life has been extended to "up to" 13 hours and in terms of hardware there's an 8th Gen Intel dual-core CPU with integrated graphics, up to 16GB of memory and an SSD of up to 1.5TB. And as you might expect, the display is still 13.3 inches, keeping the overall size of the laptop small enough to carry the "Air" moniker. Featuring a significantly smaller footprint, the new MacBook Air takes up 17 per cent less volume, is 10 per cent thinner measuring just.61 inches at its thickest point, and at just 2.75 pounds is a quarter pound lighter than the previous generation. New Macs include a MacBook Air laptop with a better screen.

The device is available for pre-order today and will begin shipping on November 7.

The price starts at $1199.00 which isn't the $999 the previous generation eventually dropped down to, but also isn't as high as the original started at.

Newly Released Ethics Documents Darken Cloud of FBI Probe Over Gillum Campaign
Yet, new texts show that Gillum knew the tickets came from undercover Federal Bureau of Investigation agent, "Mike Miller". DeSantis' campaign said it had "absolutely nothing to do with [the robocall] and joins those in condemning it".

In a way, the new MacBook Air sounds like the ideal laptop ever created.

As is the case with almost all products Apple announces at its events, the MacBook Air is available for pre-order immediately from Apple's online store. Be sure to check back in to T3 soon for the full new MacBook Air picture. It's also a laptop designed for those who are somewhat environmentally conscious (yet still want a brand-spanking new product), the tin used in the motherboard is completely recycled; the aluminium alloy shell is made of 100% recycled aluminium, and the plastic body is comprised of 35% "post-consumer" plastics.

The new MacBook Air gets a backlit keyboard with individual lighting behind each key, based on the third-generation Butterfly mechanism that's said to be 4 times more stable.

The "ultimate iPad" has 25% less volume, nearly 4 million pixels and comes in 11 inches and 12.9 inches. There's also a headphone jack.

At first glance, the Air's display looks great, though it doesn't feature the True Tone technology included in the 2018 Macbook Pro. We'll update you as it as progresses.
