Rockets Acquire Iman Shumpert, Kings Get Alec Burks In Three-Way Trade

Additionally, the Cavs will send Alec Burks to the Kings, and guards Nik Stauskas and Wade Baldwin to the Rockets.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Rockets have acquired Iman Shumpert, while the Cavs have acquired a lottery protected first-round pick, Brandon Knight and Marquese Chriss.

The Shumpert deal was announced before the Kings hosted the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night. They were rumored to be offering Knight and a first as their primary package to do just that, and they banked those chips in this deal. In Barnes, the Kings get a 6-foot-8, seventh-year player who is averaging 17.8 points and shooting 39 percent from 3-point range in 48 games this season. He'll give Rockets head coach Mike D'Antoni a defensive option should they meet the better perimeter scoring threats - such as Kevin Durant and Paul George - in the playoffs.

The deal was apparently built off the foundation of a previously reported Knight/first-round-pick-for-Burks discussion.

Stauskas, 25, has averaged 6.1 points, 1.6 boards and 1.4 assists in 15.3 minutes in 44 games, all off the bench, for the Blazers this season, with a shooting line of 41.9/34.4/88.9.
