Robert Mueller's Russian Federation investigation report delivered to US attorney general

James Comey has said he hopes Donald Trump will not be impeached following the completion of the special counsel's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. The report will now be reviewed by Mr Barr, who has said he will write his own account communicating Mr Mueller's findings to Congress and the American public.

Guessing when Mueller's report will be turned over to the Department of Justice has become a popular Washington parlour game, though the special counsel has not officially indicated that his probe is in its final stages.

Donald Trump's legal team said the president was "pleased" that Mueller has finally delivered on his probe, noting that the Attorney General "will determine the appropriate next steps".

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has finished his investigation into the Russian Federation probe after an investigation lasting nearly two years.

President Trump has not yet been personally briefed on the report, according to White House press secretary Sarah Sanders.

The White House was not immediately available for comment.

In an interview with Fox Business' Maria Bartiromo that aired Friday, Trump seemed to be bracing for the possibility that he could be accused of having obstructed justice, arguing, as he has before, that his "fighting" back should not be considered obstruction.

Boeing says to upgrade software in 737 Max 8 fleet in weeks
Boeing's technical team joined U.S., Israeli, Kenyan and other aviation experts in the investigation led by Ethiopian authorities. The airline Corporate Communications Manager, Mr Chris Iwarah, said any decision about cancelling the order would be premature .

Reporters staked out outside Mueller's office in recent days and others were at the Justice Department, watching for any signs.

Mueller also examined whether Trump committed obstruction of justice by trying to hinder the investigation, looking into acts such as urging FBI Director James Comey to drop a probe of Flynn's contacts with Russian Federation, the subsequent firing of Comey, his attacks on the special counsel, dangling of pardons for former aides and the ouster of former Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

It's also not clear what Mueller uncovered about Trump's involvement or advance knowledge, if any, of WikiLeaks release of damaging information about Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.

"No one, not even a president, is above the law", said Vanita Gupta, the group's president and CEO, in a statement.

They, like Warner, didn't want Trump to throw a wrench in Congress' spokes by getting early access to the documents. So has Representative Adam Schiff, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

Trump and his allies have spent almost two years trying to discredit Mueller. No president has every been removed from office via impeachment.
