Tiger wins 15th major title with spectacular Masters victory

Not since 2008 had Woods finished at the top of a major leaderboard but that changed at Augusta, where the 43-year-old carded a two-under-par to reign supreme.

In a short article about betting odds for upcoming golf majors we will never be able to do justice to the remarkable comeback story of Tiger Woods winning his fifth US Masters at Augusta on Sunday afternoon, but it would be neglect of us not to say a few words about his magnificent achievement.

Nike released a new ad starring Tiger Woods on Sunday after the golf legend won his fifth Masters tournament.

The Masters, which has not had a Monday conclusion since 1983, chose to cancel its green jacket ceremony at the 18th green in order to hurry spectators to the exits faster.

He then quickly spotted his family and raced over to hug his children before making his way to the scorers room while being congratulated by his fellow golfers who lined the way. When I tapped the putt in - I don't know what I did.

"It has come full circle", Woods said.

"This is definitely, probably one of the greatest comebacks I think anybody's ever seen", Koepka said.

Woods lost his impeccable image to a sex scandal, one of the swiftest and most shocking downfalls in sports.

Nike celebrated his victory by posting an ad on its website titled "Tiger Woods: Same Dream", which has received almost 500,000 views on YouTube in less than a day. "A truly Great Champion!"

"Great playing by Tiger Woods at the Masters", he wrote on Saturday.

The golfing champion's game suffered after he went through four different back surgeries and four different knee surgeries.

Woods had ended a five-year wait for a PGA Tour victory when he triumphed at the Tour Championship last September and spoke ahead of the Masters of how that experience would aid him.

Woods has battled back issues in the past, but Watson said Woods can continue to be successful if he is feeling well.

"I had serious doubts after what transpired a couple years ago", said Woods. "I always felt like I could do pretty much anything physically, but for a while there, I just couldn't even walk".

"I couldn't lay down, I couldn't do much of anything". I just listened. He was saying some things that I can't really repeat here.

"Luckily, I had the procedure on my back, which gave me a chance of having a normal life". With a plethora of injuries that have plagued him for the last 12 years, many believed Tiger was done for the count but he proved everybody wrong with his big win.

Midday at the Masters was a hit with TV viewers Sunday, leaving one to wonder what kind of audience Tiger Woods' resurrection would have drawn had weather not forced the final-round telecast to start at breakfast rather than after lunch.
